Corporate Initiatives

RE/MAX Garden City Realty Inc. is a progressive company. As such, we support multiple charities, participate in corporate theme days such as "Casual Fridays", "Administration Appreciation Day" and others.

Although, we agree that all charities are important and are worthwhile, we heavily support the following:

RE/MAX and Children's Miracle Network

Children's Miracle Network & Miracle Home Program
The RE/MAX Miracle HOme Program allows RE/MAX Associates to make a donation to the Children's Miracle Network on behalf of each home sold. Sales Associates can make a pledge to the CMN member hospital aligned with his/her office when one of their homes is listed or sold.

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Sold on a Cure Program
The disease touches the lives of many. One in nine Canadian women will get breast cancer in their lifetime, and one in 27 will die from it. These women are our mothers, our daughters, our sisters. Most of us know someone whose life has been affected by the disease.

The RE/MAX Sold on a Cure Program gives RE/MAX Sales Associates the opportunity to get involved with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and make an on-going donation. Sales Associates can make a pledge to the CBCF chapters across Ontario-Atlantic Canada aligned with his/her office every time one of their homes is listed or sold.

Yard Sale For The CureYard Sale for the Cure
Yard Sale for the Cure is an organization that raises money for Breast Cancer research and treatment by holding a massive series of Yard Sales in selected neighbourhoods across Canada. In 2005, the inaugural event was held in the Toronto Beaches. It was a huge success, raised $45 000 and brought people together with a great sense of community and purpose. Now a growing number of people from across Canada are taking on this idea and Yard Sale for the Cure will be launched in markets across the country.

In 2008, we held our first "Larger Than Life" Yard Sale for the Cure in our St. Catharines office which helped raise $16,306.28 for this worthy cause. We look forward to this to the next level in 2009.
